Review status: General-purpose policy drafted for AdvnturHub's launch, covering the site's actual current features (content browsing, an unwired email/trip-planner form, affiliate links). It has not been reviewed by a licensed attorney. Recommended before the business processes payments, expands into new jurisdictions, or collects more than basic contact data.

What this policy covers

This policy describes how AdvnturHub ("we," "us") handles information when you visit advnturhub.com.

Information we collect

  • Site analytics. Standard, aggregated technical data (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device/browser type) collected automatically if and when an analytics tool is enabled. We do not currently run analytics on this site.
  • Forms. The trip-planner and email-signup forms on this site ask for information like your name, email, and trip preferences. As of this writing, no backend is connected to these forms — submissions are not sent anywhere or stored. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and the form will say so.
  • Cookies. We use only the minimum cookies/local storage needed for the site to function (for example, remembering adventures you've saved in your browser). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies at this time.

Third parties

Outbound links to Google Maps, AllTrails, National Park Service pages, and other official sources are provided for planning purposes. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control. Some links on this site are affiliate links — see our Affiliate Disclosure.

Data retention and deletion

We only keep what we actually collect, for as long as it's needed for the purpose above. Since no forms are currently wired to a backend, there is nothing of yours stored today. If you believe we hold data about you and want it deleted, contact us using the email below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Contact us and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes, and will note it clearly on the site if a change is material (for example, if we start running analytics or storing form submissions).
